I know where you're coming from.I fully understand you. I wish Deezer had higher payouts for artists because they have everything else going for them, and I'll be going for another year with Deezer. Deezer is better to those who cant afford tidal hifi plus. Similar to Tidal, Deezer is a streaming service that uses the FLAC audio codec to stream high fidelity sound as if you were right in the recording studio. There are 3 types of sound quality Tidal services. I don't know where Tidal is getting their masters but they need to seriously reevaluate their sources. Tidal is more expensive than Deezer but the Master Audio Quality did enhance your listening experience. Tidal sounds considerably more compressed and lacking in dynamic range, even on non-MQA (which I know is crap) songs. With the exact same song playing in both services (with volume matched), Deezer consistently sounded better even though I'm not using the hifi option. Also Tidal's iOS app lacks many basic features like EQ.īut what really surprised me was the sound quality difference.

You cannot play music offline with Tidal's desktop app and that's. Although Deezer’s playlist seem overstretched. Tidal's desktop app is more stable and less prone to random connection issues, but it is more barebones than Deezer's.
